AUTUMN MAKEUP HAUL: Mac Cosmetics

Hello my loves! :)

So I thought i would make use of my Mac Pro student card before it runs out in November! I decided to place an order with Mac and get some items that I have been lusting after for a while now!

So I picked up a few autumnal colours & shades that may inspire your autumn make up looks.

I picked up a mac lipliner in the shade "whirl" it's a beautiful cool toned pinky mauve shade that is very in fashion at the moment and is considered to be a "Kylie Jenner lip colour". This shade looks beautiful alone & paired with a nude lipstick!

Here is a swatch of the lipliner in the shade "whirl".

I also picked up this beautiful lipliner in "burghundy". This is screams autumn and I'm so excited to wear it with a deep red lippy and wintery clothes!

I got 2 lipsticks in the shades "twig" & "hang-up" hang-up is a cremesheen lipstick & twig is a satin.

Twig is also considered a kylie Jenner lip colour, it's a browny, red toned mauve shade and an all round great day to day lipstick.

Hang-up is the perfect autumnal deep berry red shade that I am just dying over this autumn! I just cannot wait to pair this with a deep burgundy smokey eye & the burghundy lip liner.

I also picked up this beautiful eyeshadow palette! It's the burghundy by 9 pallete (can you tell I am really feeling the burghundy shades!) 

So starting from the top left we have the shades

- Honey Lust - a warm copper/champagne gold shade

- Poppyseed - a cool toned mauve shade, great transition shade

- Quarry - a pink, cool toned mauve

- Antigued - a deep, copper toned brown

- Embark - a deep, red toned brown

- #Noir - black with subtle gold fleks

- Haux - a red toned mauve shade

- Star Violet - a deep red toned shimmery mauve

- Sketch - *the star of the show* - a deep burghundy matte colour

MAKEUP HAUL: Kiko, Mac & Sephora.

So I went to Italy for a week and I did a little damage in Kiko, I got A LOT of makeup. I also got a few bits in Sephora & Mac. I hope you enjoy this haul! Maybe if your traveling to Europe you can get a few ideas of what to buy.

So in Sephora I picked up 2 of the fibre face masks, the perfecting & brightening pearl mask and the anti-fatigue & energizing pomegranate mask! I cannot wait to try these out and maybe I'll do a mini review on my blog.

So from Kiko I bought the ombré colour spheres and they are absolutely beautiful.

The Kiko water eyeshadows are by far my favourite purchase! They are absolutely beautiful in the pan & on the eyes. I'm obsessed and I can't wait to pick up more colours.

The Kiko velvet touch creamy stick blushes are fantastic, especially for summer, they give a subtle hint of colour to the cheeks and give a youthful look. 

I picked up these 2 neutral matte eyeshadows and I feel these will be lovely all year round!

Kiko long lasting stick syeshadows.

Crystal eyeliner in number 03.

Kiko ultimate pen long wear eyeliner.

Long lasting eyeshadow vibe2 stick.

This is an interesting product and I think it will be nice for a smokey eye.

So the Mac haul is tiny but I can't wait to try these products out! I feel the Mac fix+ will be amazing in the summer to set make up and give a dewy finish to the skin.

I also picked up the Mac brow gelcreme in the shade true brunette. I got the Mac 263 brush to apply it.

Colour shock long lasting eyeshadow - 101 punk baby pink.

I love the packaging of this product and love multi-purpose products like this for fast easy makeup application.

Smart lipstick- nude shade.

Smart lip pencils, I got a nude & coral shade.

Eye tech look eyeshadow, I can't wait to use this burghandy colour in the autumn/winter time.

I also picked up this nail polish in a lovely dusty pink colour.

My Travel Make-Up Bag.

I'm so excited!! I'm going on holiday to Italy on Thursday to visit my love Italian friends. Packing is one of the most exciting parts of going away for me (as sad as that sounds!) I love to plan outfits and makeup looks and pack accordingly!

Here are the makeup products I am taking in my makeup bag to Italy.

Face:

Foundation: Loreal infallible 24 hour matte foundation.

Blush: Essence silky touch blush in the shade 08 autumn peach.

Bronzer: Victoria's Secret Bronzer in Glowing.

Highlighter: The Balms Maryloumanizer.

I also depotted some of my maybeline dream BB cream & some boots botanics radiance balm.

Eyeshadows: Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette.

Bobbi Brown Basics Pallette.

Maybeline 24hr Colour Tattoo in the shade on and on bronze.

Mascara: Maybeline lash sensational mascara.

Brows:

HAUL: The Body Shop.

I am a big fan of the body shop, I love all the products I have tried from them & love how they are so inexpensive!

I have extremely dry skin, so I was recommended by a friend to try out the vitamin E range from the body shop.

I picked up the vitamin E cream cleanser. I have been using it for the past couple of days and I have already noticed changes in my skin. Usually when I wake up my face feels very dry & tight and I have not been experiencing this since I started using this cleanser which is great. 

The vitamin E face mist is also great for the summer months as it is so soothing and refreshing. Also it's a great size to pop into your handbag and use during the day to refresh and tone your face.

I also picked up the vitamin E Aqua boost sorbet, which was the most intriguing item for me. It has a a thick, creamy consistency and has an automatic soothing and hydrating effect. I use this before my moisturiser and I honestly feel there is no going back from this product and its a new skincare favourite!

The natural rose roll on lip balms were on sale for £1.50 each and they are another favourite for the summer, giving an hydrating feel to the lips!

If you have dry skin I would definately check out the body shops vitamin E range, it has worked wonders for my skin in such a short amount of time.

21st Birthday Wishlist.

Hellooo my lovelies! ☺️

It is my 21st birthday in August and I am so excited! Me and my boyfriend have our lovely Italian friends staying with us for the week leading up to my birthday and I am so excited to spend time with them. We have planned a day out in York to celebrate my birthday so I am very excited as it is one of my favourite English cities.

There are so many awesome new things out at the minute that I really want to get my hands on and what's a better excuse to treat yourself than on your birthday, right?

Nars sheer glow foundation.

My my, this foundation has been on my wishlist for so long! I seriously have no idea why I haven't purchased it yet. For someone with dry skin, this foundation sounds like a dream. It sounds like an extremely versatile foundation, great for any season and occasion! I hope to buy this soon and when I do I will make sure to do a first impression on my blog.

Aqua di Gioa Eue de Parfume

This purmufe is just divine. It's a very fresh, floral scent perfect for the warm season! It's also the perfect sultry scent when you want to feel a little more sexy! I really hope I can put this with all of my other favourite perfumes soon!

A MAC cosmetics shopping spree!

So as you may already know, I am a  media make up student and I also have a MAC pro card which entitles me to a significant discount! I would love to order something off the MAC website. Currently on my MAC wishlist- Ruby woo lipstick AKA "The perfect red!" Mineralise skin finish in soft and gentle & studio sculpt foundation!

Fujifilm Instax mini 8 Camera

Me and my boyfriend, Gary are visiting our lovely Italian friends in July for a week and we are planning to visit Rome & Venice.. I think this camera would be perfect for getting instant scrapbook worthy printouts of these beautiful cities!

A meal at Jamie's Italian! 

So in the introduction i mentioned I was spending the day in York with my lovely friends and boyfriend for my birthday & as I am a big fan of Jamie Oliver I would love the have a meal at his lovely chain of restaurants.. Epic chocolate brownie I'm coming for you!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit

In the years 2014-2015 YouTube has been choca blocked with contouring and highlighting tutorials! I would love to invest in some good contouring brushes and really try to master the art!

Bare minerals complexion rescue

The beauty world has gone crazy over this little gem the past few months, it really does sound like the perfect tinted moisturiser for the warmer climates, if love to try it out in time for my holiday!

The walking dead comics

I am a massive walking dead fan!! (Daryl and Glen are my favourites) I'd love to have the full collection of comics/graphic novels to read and keep as they sound like amazing reads!

Realistically that is a very long list of items to ask for on my birthday!! But at the same time, I will be happy with whatever my day brings.. As they say the best things in life are free!❤️

Loréal Infallible 24 Hour Matte Foundation.

After watching countless reviews on YouTube and taking advantage of the 3 for 2 offer in superdrug, I gave in and decided to try this foundation!

When I hear the word Matte, I shiver a little inside... having a combination of dry and normal skin. I tend to stay away from matte foundations as I find they cling to even the smallest of dry patches!

I am very pleased with the finish of this foundation, unlike other matte foundations I have tried in the past, it gives a full coverage finish without looking flat and feeling heavy on the skin. I still feel this allows a natural glow to shine through whilst covering imperfections and uneven skin tone. 

I chose the shade "13 Rose Beige" and used the real techniques expert face brush to apply in circular motions, I found this gave me a natural, airbrushed finish. The texture is very light, it doesn't feel heavy on the skin and has a longevity of about 10 hours in my experience.

I am very happy I tried this foundation and it will definately be my go to for nights out, special occasions or when I need my foundation to last for a longtime. I'd definately recommend it to anyone with normal, oily or combination skin!
